I really cant wait for 29dec to come. It's the day im flying to BKK! For the 2nd time in 6mths! Hoho. Met up wif frens ytd to discuss abt the itinerary and ooh la la~ wat fun we r gng to haf! (haha,hope so!) Shopping,shopping & more shopping! And we r gng to binge ourselves on food there too. Wat sharks fin, "jackfruit"(muahaha,no la,it's JAP food---my frens noe the joke abt jackfruit),seafood and buffet breakfast blah blah blah. Oh my...jus thinking abt them makes me drool....but i dread seeing my weight go over 50kg when i come back! Anyway,less than 17 days to the day..... =)

During tuition jus now,i happened to look thru my tuition kid's 2007 sch diary and she wrote sth personal inside. Nope,i din invade her privacy la. At 1st she didnt want to show me wat she wrote but after much persuasion from me,she showed me. She wrote that she hopes to make more frens in her new class. See the power and influence that frens can haf on ppl. This tuition kid of mine gets really upset when she doesnt haf any close frens. (ok,most ppl on earth will get upset,not only her. After all,zai jia kao fu mu,chu wai kao peng you) But she(let's call her YW)gets very disturbed when she thinks she has no frens. In the beginning of the yr,when she jus got into the best class in her sch(Class A),she was lamenting that her classmates didnt like her as she was from another class the prev yr and they haf alr formed a clique themselves. Even if she had frens,she felt they treated her like dirt,pretended to be nice to her but actually backstabbed her. SOunds scary hor? For a grp of 10-11yr old kids. Backstabbing. Nowadays kids haf a more complicated life than ours a decade ago. Haiz. Anyway,during that time she was very sad la,kept complaining that she wanted to go back to class B where she came from originally coz that's where her good frens were. But as mths passed by,she slowly developed better frenships wif her classmates lo. Now the sad thing is that she took pains to build frenships wif ppl in class A liao but now she's leaving class A. Haiz. I rem 1 mth ago when she told me her results,she was posted to 6B and she was sad abt it coz she couldnt bear to part wif her newfound frens. Wat to do? I said "nvm,ur 4B frens r still in 6B,u still haf them." And today i found out that her wish is to make more frens in 6B. Hmm. Good luck to her. =) If she had not made the 5 careless mistakes for her maths SA2 paper,she could haf remained in 6A de. *shakes head* 5 careless mistakes = 5marks = 2.5% difference to overall score = quite a big difference in class position = remaining in class A. Coz her sch allocates the pupils to their classes according to their level position. The top 44 goes into class A,next 44 to class B and so on. Her level position is like,49? She is jus a mere 5 positions away! Mayb it is a blessing in disguise bah. After teaching her for so long,i noe where her standard is. Being in the 2nd best class is better for her than the best class. No doubt,she has become more determined to work hard ever since she was in class A coz she knew she was competing wif smarter ppl but it's really stressful for her lo. And that affects her psychologically. I will rather see her being top in the 2nd best class which i think she is capable of doing. Less stress. When she was in class B she topped her class in chi & sci,which i think boosted her confidence and motivated her. That is definitely better than zi bao zi qi in class A. Good luck to her again,for her PSLE in 10mths time & good luck to me too,coz it's a lil bit stressful getting her to buck up for maths which she HATES. And eng which she is not too good in. As for her brother,im kinda pissed off wif him for not completing his hw again. Last tues,i didnt scold him. Last Sat,i gave him a warning. Today,i threatened to tell his mom. Hello,u think i wan to gif him tuition hw? His mom asked me to gif them hw during the sch hols de lo....said to keep them occupied. Ha. How can they keep themselves occupied doing hw when they haf cousins ard to play wif them EVERYDAY & the oh-so-fun-to-play-wif PSP??? Holy cow. I dun even haf a PSP myself lo. (hey there,im not jealous or envious ok! duh) I dun understand their uncle. Spending so much $$$ on their naughty niece & nephew. Doesnt he(which ultra GENEROUS uncle was it,i dunno.They seem to haf LOTS of uncles. & i mean father's brothers that kind) noe that a PSP has the power to distract them from their studies? Watever. Enuff abt them.

Well,i accidentally came across this 12yr old girl's blog & im really disturbed over the fact that kids nowadays r getting more "mature" & bolder. That gal is alr attached lo. At a tender age of 12. And she actually started a blog wif her young bf as well. In their blog,they said they love each other very much,will not forget each other when they enter sec sch next yr,will love each other 4ever. Duh. Wat do these kids noe abt love? Ok,mayb i shld ask "do they really understand love?" Seems like getting a bf/gf is becoming the "norm" & "in" thing to do among the younger generation. Wks ago i saw this young(also in pri 6)couple behaving intimately in Mac. Well,it's not intimate la,but the gal was resting her head on her same-size-as-her bf,eating her french fries & looking blissful. Immediately i told my fren that i suspect the gal likes the boy & my fren ans "They ARE a couple. I saw them walk hand in hand into Mac." Diao. I rolled my eyes. Im not conservative la,but dun u think getting into a relationship at 12 yrs old is a lil bit young?????? I dun object to sec sch students gng steady....coz at least they r older. But p6????? Sigh. i think my generation is more dan chun lo. Heehee. Dunno that's gd or bad wor.

i think i muz get myself prepared soon to hear my tuition kid tell me this one day "I got a bf alr!"
