Time flies,i have been teaching in YCSS for 5 days. Which is equivalent to 1 week. Hoho. Actually,i only STARTED teaching today la. Been observing other teachers' lessons for the past 1 week. I only received my timetable today. And ya noe what? I have completely NO lessons on Friday. BUT,obviously i still have to go to school right?
Grrr. Went to Sec 1__ class for relief-teaching this morning. Er,actually i did not have to teach them la. Their Science teacher was absent but she left a Science wksheet for them to do. And so,i have to issue the wkshts to them and ensure that they did it QUIETLY. Unfortunately,they could not keep quiet at all. Did not even show respect for me. Okie,they did,but kids are kids. They would still walk ard in the class and do other stuff right under my nose. I guess i am just not FIERCE enough. Oh well.
And then for the Sec 4 Express class,i only observed them today as their original Maths teacher wanted to go through other sch's Maths paper with them. It was their previous day's homework. Quite a talkative class but overall,still ok la. Hmm. I better go practise A LOT of O-level and N-level Maths papers. Since i am giving remedial to a few N-level girls who are weak in Maths. Grrr. I had my first session of Maths remedial just now. Half of them are really serious in their work but the other half? Haiz. Copy copy copy. Lazy lazy lazy.
I think D&T is still nicer....at least i am co-teaching with the original teacher,so the job is not that tough.
Anyway.
I need to improve on many areas. Seriously.

I fell sick just ONE day before i assumed duty. How terrible. Diarrhoea + Vomitting + Fever. Doctor said it's some stomach virus. Yucks.
Anyway,im better now. 2nd day of work today. YCSS is fun! The environment is good! Principal,VP and most of the staff are really nice and jovial people. *thumbs up* Yeah. No teaching this week coz HOD said they wont stress us. Oh yeah! =D

Jus went for my Teacher Preparatory Programme today. Woo! It was FUN! I mean the trainer. He was such a humourous guy,cracking hilarious jokes and his funny actions made us laugh a lot. Of course,i also learnt how to deal with pupils during lessons. =) Now the task is,HOW to apply the concepts learnt in the real scenario.
Anyway,I'm feeling a bit apprehensive now abt my first day in school. I mean,teaching in a school. Argh. I'm afraid that i will stammer. Coz i do stammer a bit(or speakveryfast) when i am nervous. Oh dear! I hope i don't make a fool of myself in front of my students on Wed and the rest of the days to come. =S
One more day of training tomorrow.....kind of looking forward to it but i definitely don't look forward to waking up at 7.30am. -.- And oh,ALL the untrained teachers i met today during training had the same response when they learnt which school i am posted to. They all exclaimed,"HAH! So far!" or "HAH! I thought they will post us to a school near our house???" Eh,actually YCSS's location is not~ bad~ lah~. At least i don't have to change trains. Ha!
No more going to bed very late and no more waking up late. Argh! Why did these past 3 months pass so fast??? From this Wed onwards,I have to wake up at 5.45am. Ahhhhh!!! And,what time can i knock off? I don't know for now. =S

Anyway.
Mum was watching news just now when she suddenly exclaimed,"Hey girl! NTU Graduation ceremony! Why today got graduation ceremony?" Haha. Mum saw the news report on i-cannot-remember-whose-son-was-it graduating today from NTU. So sha asked me why mine is on Fri. Eh,CEE very small mah. So our graduation ceremony is the last one to be held. Last weekday of the week,last ceremony of the day. -.- Mum joked that she wants to put on makeup and wear a long skirt(which i don't know why)on Fri. Heh.
Oooh.....2 events to look forward to this week. Lalalalala.

Back from my 8-day Taiwan trip. Wow. Time flies,huh? At this time last wk i was at the night market in Kao-hsiung. Or at the hotel? haha. Cant rem. Oh well. I was quite homesick at first but on Wed onwards i felt a bit reluctant to come back. LOL.

Went back to NTU with Huijun today to collect my degree,transcripts and gown. DUH! Sth's wrong with me today. I forgot to bring 1 impt thing to collect the graduation stuff! I actually FORGOT to bring IC! Ok,no IC nvm. BUT,i also did not bring other forms of identification - tertiary ezlink card or matric card. Wat the......i felt like punching myself! And the student staff(i presume they are students la)there are so.....wicked. They would not let me collect my graduation stuff without showing them any proof of identification. And one of them was so sarcastic to say,"Next time,u can tell your juniors this." By that,he meant that i can tell my juniors to remember to bring their IC/ezlink/matric card when it's their turn to collect their graduation stuff. Wat the..... I wanna strangle that silly guy!!!!! >:(
Anyway,besides being EXTRA forgetful today(i also forgot to bring my bill out to make payment),i also caught a cold. Yeeks. It's making me so......TERRIBLE now. Haiz. -.-
Oh yes,i almost FORGOT again. I jus received my MOE posting letter today! Phew! Lucky! I have been posted to my big cousin's alma mater - **** ***** sec sch. Nah. Shall not reveal it here. It's somewhere near Lakeside. OMG! Im like,stuck in Jurong West area for 7 yrs?! Firstly,my JC is in Jurong West,so i took the train to Boon lay for 2 yrs then. After that for Uni education,also in Jurong West(NTU la!) And now teaching? Somewhere near Jurong West. Oh well.

Hmmm.....less than 2 days to Taiwan trip and i'm beginning to feel excited. Initially,i was too numb to be excited. Haha. Coz there were a lot of problems which cropped up and i thought i had to abandon my holiday plans. Anyway,i received the hotel list from the agency today. Woah! We will be staying in 6 different hotels for the whole trip! Exhausting man! That's what i heard from Mum's frens who went there on package tour before. They said we'd better be prepared for the tiring but fun trip. Woah! I cannot wait for Friday dawn to come! Have to reach Changi Airport by 5.30am! =S BUT,the good thing is,we are boarding the plane at Terminal 2,which is newer and nicer-looking la. I have always been wanting to visit the oh-so-awesome-looking Terminal 2. Yeah! I will be taking a lot of photos at the airport first wor! Haha.
And oh,i jus saw my big cousin's graduation photo at his sister's blog. My big cousin just graduated with a diploma from NIE today. Wow. Time flies. I remember very clearly on his first day of school in NIE 2 yrs ago,he met me for lunch. 2 yrs ago! That was 2 yrs ago man! Ooh lala. And this yr,i am also (finally!) graduating from my beloved NTU. And im going back to school tomorrow with Huijun to collect the degree,official transcripts and gown! Yeah! Not forgetting the invitation cards to my graduation ceremony. Lalala. I already have 1 fren who promised that she will be coming for our(huijun and i) convocation! Thanks Xinghui! =D Ooooooh...i cannot wait for tomorrow,this friday and next next friday(27 July) to come!
Ok,enough. I am a happy and contented lady currently. Oh,Tutee no 1 is going to RVHS tomorrow and friday for the DSA selection tests! Good luck,Tutee! =D
No tuition for the next 11 days.....Awww.....i will miss my oh-so-adorable tutees man.

It's a cool night today.....rained very heavily just now. GREAT! Natural air-con.
Anyway,Mum and i bought 2 new luggages today - 1 big,1 small. The small one actually comes FREE with the big one. And we only paid $59.90 for them! Great buy,must buy! I
like love the luggage a lot,cause it's of my favourite color!!!!! It's kind of funny actually. My mum was asking this salesman abt another luggage and then i was looking ard and tada! I saw another salesman bringing out 2 pink+black luggages from the storeroom and i was immediately attracted to the luggages! It was love at first sight,ya? Haha. So i pulled my mum away from the first luggage that she was asking abt and said,"Mum,i like that!" while pointing to the pink luggage. Hohoho. And so i ended up with them! =D
Ok,that was the highlight for today.
Yesterday i caught the helicopters and Singapore flag flying past my house again. This time,there was not 1,but 2 Singapore flags! Rehearsing,ya?
Anyway,i caught them on camera again! =D
First time,i saw them slightly further away from my estate before 6.30.
Abt half an hr later,they started flying towards my estate. Oooooooh!
Btw,beautiful clouds in the sky yesterday too,ya?
It's easy to tell others what to do or how to think but when u have to do it yourself,it's hard.

Hmmm.....nothing special happened these few days so that explains why i didnt update.
Anyway,ok,it's been confirmed that i will be posted to a school for contract teaching first from 23 July. Hmm,dunno if i shld be happy or sad. Happy cause i can finally teach in a school. Sad cause i will not be studying in NIE with my frens. =( Haiz.
Tonight's tuition session with the naughty little Tutee no 5 was a breeze. LOL. She was quite well-behaved today. Good! U noe why? Because BOTH her parents were at home! When her mum drove me home,she told me that the kid is afraid of her Daddy. Ahaha. I wish her Daddy would be at home everytime. But no,it's just my wishful thinking as BOTH her parents are very busy people. And just now the kid's grandmother showed me the 2 canes that they just bought. The canes are for me to beat the kid whenever she's misbehaving. Haha. But no,i DO NOT beat children. No matter how naughty they are. Firstly,they are not my kids;secondly,i strongly believe in 爱的教育。打是不能解决问题的。 That's what my mum taught me. And i can prove this. My dearest Mama has NEVER caned/beat/hit me before. And u see,I am so WELL-BEHAVED. Ahaha. *Pls refrain from vomitting or rolling ur eyes,eh?*
And oh,less than 7 weeks to Tutee no 1's Pri 6 Prelims exams and she's still behaving nonchalantly about it. -.- When i questioned her abt her bo-chap attitude,she replied adamantly "Prelim results cannot determine which sec school we will go to what,even if dun do well also never mind!"
-.- What kind of attitude is that? We should be conscientious leh! Grrr. And if we do well for Prelims,at least we can be assured that we are quite well-prepared for PSLE;if we don't do well for Prelims,we shld check out our weak areas and work on them and study harder for PSLE! Tsk. My tutee just cannot comprehend this.
7 more days to flying off. Argh. I think it will be an exhausting trip cause heard from many people that for this kind of package tour,we need to keep changing hotels. Tiring la. I can take it but how abt my Mama?

It is the FIRST day of the second half of the year today. Uh huh. Time flies hor?
For a particular reason,i wish the earth can stop rotating. I dun want the time to pass so fast.
Anyway,3 more weeks before i assume duty. Yeah! I am happy. Because that means i can start to earn a greater amount of money. However,I am also sad because i have to say bye bye to the carefree days that i am currently having. Oh well. Nvm.

Ok,enough abt serious stuff. Went shopping with Bee,Faye and Val at Novena Square & Square 2 today. Hmm,Square 2 reminds me of Thailand shopping malls - the shops are very small and lined in rows. When u walk,u have to decide which way to turn - left or right. There are many shops on both sides.
Gee. Nothing much to blog abt le. I need to prepare lesson plans for my tutees. Bye!
