F1I believe the talk of the town this wkend is none other than F1.
I think i'm beginning to like F1.
It's all somebody's fault. Influenced by him.
Haha.
Actually, not really la. I am kinda excited over the fact that F1 is currently held in Singapore and the excitement has gotten me addicted to the race itself.
I jus bought a box of Lego Ferrari for Mr Chua today. As an early birthday/Xmas present. And he has finished putting the Lego pieces into 1 Ferrari. Hohoho.
The Lego Ferrari and usI am going to watch F1 live tomorrow. And i mean that i'm watching it at Marina. Not at home. Yay!

Here are some of the photos that i took sometime ago.
WARNING!
The first 2 photos might give you a fright! LOL.

Mr Chua! He looked like an elf with that poncho over his head.
He's so cute here...hohoho. And that's his dad behind.

That's all for the photos of the fireworks! =D

A bouquet of flowers for 11th month. Doesn't this bouquet look familiar? Well,Mr Chua gave me a similar one(same colour) exactly six mths ago, just that this time, the bouquet is smaller in size. So sweet of him to buy for me. I totally didn't expect this. Thank you. =)

Hello.
I'm busy with doing Maths assignment again. But that's ok,since i like Maths anyway.
I will be getting busier and busier. Tons of assignments to be completed in 1 month's time. And my tutees' SA2 are also round the corner. Their exam dates clash with my assignments' due dates. =S And so i shall not procrastinate.
I SHALL START DOING ALL OF THEM NOW.
She told me something depressing. I don't want it to happen. Though i know very well that it's inevitable. I really hope and pray that she will still be alright.

It's useless to keep telling someone to "work harder",actually.
This is what i have learnt in the Educational Psychology module.
When a person has failed, and u tell him to work harder,u are making him more depressed and stressed. For all u know,he might have worked really very hard but yet still didn't achieve what he had expected. The fact that we say "work harder" implies that we think he has not put in enough effort.
Anyway.
Instead of advising someone to work harder,we should advise him to
1)look at his mistakes,
2)find out the root of the problem and
3)change his strategy in studying. (The strategies that he had been using could be wrong)
On our part,we could give more encouragement by praising him when he has made some improvement,be it slight or great; say "You can do it!" instead of "work harder"; ask him to "never say die","believe in yourself" etc. Instil a positive attitude in him.
People with positive attitude always think in a positive manner and that never fails them in whatever they do.
Trust me.
When i think in a positive manner,i feel happier.
Last but not least,i have this to encourage those who have not done well:
THE FAILURE DO NOT ALWAYS FINISH LAST.
I have experienced this personally. Really.

HELLO!
It's Teacher's Day today!
HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!!!
(to me,Mr Chua and all the other teachers in Singapore)
Poor me. I still have lessons today. =( 10.30am to 5.00pm.
SIAN.
Awww.....i am getting so nervous about my mini practice teaching for Maths this coming Wed. I think i will stammer. =S
Going to buy a new laptop this coming Fri,i hope.
Tutee no 1 has gotten her EOY exam timetable. So fast. 6th Oct will be the "last" lesson with her and then i shall give her a longggggggg break. Luckily,Tutee no 6 has PSLE Chinese exam on the 7th Oct and i DON'T teach her Chinese,so i don't have to tutor her on the 6th. Phew. Otherwise i don't know who i am going to teach that day.
Anyway.
Went to offer prayers to my grandparents and Da Bo on Sat,the last day of the 7th lunar month. OMG. This year was the FIRST year that Ah Gong,Ah Ma and Ah Pek had so many people to offer prayers to them all at once. I brought Mr Chua along;Big Aunt,2nd Aunt and as usual,4th aunt went with Mum and me. And we bumped into my 2 cousins and their wives there. Oh,my 2nd aunt's daughter and granddaughter came along with us too. What a huge turn-out this year. Hahaha.
Alright. Gotta zzz already. It's late! Bye!
