"Exactly 2 yrs ago,on the 6th of Jan 2005, i received a piece of shocking news that sent me into despair & extreme sadness for at least 5 days. After hearing that news,i was very sad & feeling helpless. I behaved like a zombie throughout that whole wkend & lost 2 kg in just that wkend. Coz i was so sad & feeling pang2 huang2 wu2 zhu4, i had no appetite to eat. Didnt feel hungry oso. Slept almost 24hrs a day just so to escape from reality. Really. That was the saddest point in my then 21+yrs of life. A few frens probably know what sad news im talking abt now. It's too private. At least to me. I dun wan many ppl to noe. Neither does the person concerned want others to noe too.

Now,2 yrs down the road,everything is ok. Currently. Or at least it SEEMS ok. i do not know. Today(6th Jan 2007),i am suddenly gripped by that same feeling again. The helpless feeling 2 yrs ago. i don't know why the feeling came. i just felt sad & helpless again,at certain times of the day & it just struck suddenly. i dont know why. nothing bad happened these few days leh. the feeling just came like that." - dated 6 January 2007

The helpless feeling is back again. And this time,it's for real. Something is wrong. It's bad news.....and it took ___ 8 days to break the news to me. How IRONIC. To think i was happy for 8 days for nothing......

The above number is my Tutee no 1's PSLE aggregate. Woohoo~ She did SO MUCH better than what i had expected! Yay!!! She scored 3As and 1A*. I could guess correctly rightaway the A* was for her Chinese. Her strongest subject mah. I am so P.R.O.U.D of Pang Yu Wan!!! And of course,i am really really really extremely happie that she scored 245! Hurray! =D But now the stressful thing is that,she does not know which school to choose. I am bringing her to Nan Hua High and Crescent Girls to check out the sch environment. Hopefully,she can get into NHHS? Muz pray very hard...coz she just met the cut-off point for NHHS by 1 more mark only. And that's including the 2 bonus points? Haha. Initially she had NO IDEA which school to choose and after i suggested NHHS,she wanted to go there now liao.

Anyway,this year's PSLE cohort did extremely well!!!!! Yay! They are mostly PIGGY babies lor. *smug look* See,pigs are so smart. Haha. Although the % of pupils who can go on to sec schs is the same as last year's,the number of pupils who scored above 286 is a whopping high - 16 pupils!

And oh,i had a big surprise too. I found out from MOE website that an ex-tuition kid of mine is one of the top EM3 pupils in her school. Although i dun keep in touch with her anymore,i am very glad and happy for her too. She used to be very lazy,not wanting to do any work when she was in Pri 1. BUT now,she did well. Yay!

And and,my neighbour's son did quite well too! He's my tutee no 1's schoolmate. Found his blog accidentally just now....and learnt that he scored 233! Haha. Now i dun have to ask his mother personally about his score! And he doesn't know that i know his score! LOL.

Well well well,it really seems that A LOT of P6 pupils whom i know did very well for PSLE. I must say again,we PIGGIES are so CLEVER! Hahahahahahaha.

Ah...show u my tutee's result slip. But it's quite blur. Sorry!

He used the mattress to wrap himself while lying down on his back and pretended that he was a SUSHI. Can u imagine? I think he was pretending that the mattress was the seaweed and he's the filling. OMG! So hilarious! And after that he got tired of being sushi and he changed it to clam. DUH! And lastly,he "turned" into a.....banana? OMG. Even more hilarious. And i managed to record it down!!!! Hahaha. But i dunno if i shld post his video here? Haha.

I am supposed to be having tuition NOW. At this time. BUT,"thanks" to my 2 dunno-wat-to-say-abt-them tutees,I am at home slacking. Tsk. I have already REMINDED Tutee no 3 and 4 at abt 12.30pm TODAY,that there's tuition at 3.30pm. And,guess what? I reached their place jus now and discovered,to my horror,that they have gone SHOPPING!!! Argh. Apparently,the 2 kids did NOT tell their mother abt tuition and so,she brought them out. Wat the *toot-toot*. Yeah,i know u might say,i shld have called them first before i went to their place. BUT BUT BUT,i thought since i told them abt it THREE hours ago,they would have remembered and stayed at home mah. How would i know they would keep quiet abt it? Tsk. Poor bf. He was at my place sleeping and he was sick. If i had known my tutees went out,obviously i didnt have to go and then my bf could have slept more. Tsk. Must punish them. Ha Ha.

Anyway,tutee no 1 will be getting her PSLE results tomorrow....Ooh!!! I cannot wait! Feel like accompanying her to get her results,but she doesnt want me to go leh. Awww. My first time leh! I mean,my FIRST tutee getting PSLE results! OOH! So exciting! But i have a feeling that she will not perform up to my expectations. Aiya. Whatever. What's done cannot be undone.

Wow. Middle of the month again??? 时间真的是过得好快！

Today,bf and i can officially say that we have been together for one month. Hmm,during this one month,he had made me cry TWICE(he only knew about the first time,though). Anyway,they are just trivial matters and i know he's remorseful. Haha.

Ok,i shall not say any more stuff about us. I don't allow him to read my blog anyway. Ha ha ha.

I am quite happy today!

Firstly,i do NOT have to go to work tomorrow and on Friday!!! Yeah! Can sleep late and wake up late lo!

Secondly,Tutee no 2 did improve quite a lot since the mid-years. Yay! And compared to last year's level position,he improved a lot too! =)

And his teacher's remarks for him(written in his report book) are so good! I am so proud of him! I definitely want to continue teaching him next year! Because teaching him really,truly gives me job SATISFACTION. =D

Well,as usual,the intelligent-but-darn-playful Tutee no 3 did very well too. Overall percentage of 89.0%. Hmm...IF i have the time next year,i seriously wonder if i shld continue teaching him? He does not need tuition actually. (in my opinion) Anyway. Let's see if i have the time to spare or not. I have a hunch telling me that my NIE timetable will be very packed. =S

Oh,it is my first time seeing ALL my tutees' report books in ONE single day. Haha. I love seeing report books. There's nothing interesting to talk about Tutee no 4 and no 5's results since they do not have exams(Pri 1 only) and their "grades" are just "Very Good","Good","Fair" and "Needs Improvement". Haha. But i must say,Tutee no 4 has only "Very Good" and "Good" 'grades' whereas Tutee no 5 has a few "Fair" grades and 1(i think) "Needs Improvement". Haiz. What to do? Tutee no 5 is actually erm...smarter than Tutee no 4 but she's darn lazy. Anyway.

Happy Belated Deepavali!!!

Woo! I was out almost the whole day yesterday. And I really enjoyed myself.

Firstly,my mom cooked me mee sua in the morning as it is my lunar birthday today but Mommy is not at home today so i have to eat my mee sua one day earlier. Hmm~~~ the mee sua was DELICIOUS!!! Cooked with abalone too. I feel so pampered...I know Mom dotes on me a lot...and i L.O.V.E mommy!!!

Ok,then after eating i had to rush to Plaza Sing to meet Jianer and Pipi. Jianer is leaving for UK next Monday to work there for 1.5yrs...AWWWW...i will miss her so much!!!!! So me and Pipi met Jianer for a farewell lunch at Pizza Hut. Oh my...i was so full after eating my mee sua that i ate only drumlets and garlic bread. Haha. And then we went to shop a bit before i had to go home to take sth and then go out of the house again.

Anyway,in the evening i went to Orchard(again)to meet my Uni frens for dinner at Ichiban Boshi. As usual,i was quite full...so i was the only one there who ate very little. But of course no matter how full i was,i MUST eat my favourite - raw salmon!!! Hahaha. Yum yum! Thank u very much,Huijun,for giving us a treat. I love ya too! =D

After eating,the 5 of us(me,Beebee,Huijun,Faye and Valerie)went to Party World. Heehee. It was so F.U.N!!! I have not sang for a very longggg time lo...really sang to my heart's content last night! ^_^ Yeah! And i was so touched...the rest bought a small little cake for me and Beebee and there was even a candle! I was so surprised that they even dedicated 2 birthday songs for us! Didnt know when they selected the songs. So yeah...we sang along with the KTV's birthday songs,made a wish and blew the candle. Thank you gals! For making this day so S.P.E.C.I.A.L for me. I was really very happy last night. =D

I L.O.V.E my 24th birthday!

Firstly,in the morning i went to the National Library to return and borrow books with my tutee no 1. She wanted to meet me to pass me my birthday presents lor,so i thought,why not bring her to the library too. Since she has said before that she wanted to go. So yeah. This year is the first year i received birthday presents from my tutees. Besides buying me gifts,the 3 younger kids made me birthday cards too. I am so touched! What they wrote in the birthday cards almost made me tear! And also made me laugh lor. Aiyoyo. I think my tutees are more desperate to see me get married! Tutee no 2 and 3(both BOYS) wished that i will get married with my bf soon. DUH! That's like,so early??? LOL.

Afterwards,Mum treated me,dearest cousin and BF to lunch at Sakae.....actually dear cousin wanted to give the treat but Mum decided to pay instead cause she said it was the 3 Scorpios' birthdays.....haha. Mine and BF's birthday today,then next week is my cousin's. So yeah~ So qiao right.

Then,in the evening i went to Downtown East chalet with BF and his family. His 3rd uncle's family rented a chalet and so we went there for fun. BF bought a cake before we went there. And after the BBQ,BF's family sang birthday song for me and BF. Haha. It really feels weird to sing a birthday song to someone else when it's MY birthday too.

Haha...i really enjoyed myself today. This is one of my happiest and most enjoyable birthdays.....

I went to Tian Fu Gong Temple with Mum and Beebee today. After that Bee and i went to Marina Square and Suntec to shop. Haha. I spent $150.95 today! Initially i only intended to buy 2 dresses - 1 for Grad Nite and another for birthday celebration - but i could not help it. I saw some blouses which i really like and so...i bought them. They are to be worn for work purpose. So yeah,i guess i was not spending unnecessarily right? Haha.

Anyway,i feel so blessed. When i told Mum and BF about my expenses for the day,they offered to sponsor me. Ahaha. But this "pampered" woman here is actually quite independent,you know. I rejected their offer. But i must admit,in the end i let Mum sponsor my birthday dress cause she said herself "Treat it as a birthday present." So yeah. My 2nd birthday present! From Mum! =D I love Mama.

1.5 hr more to my (and also BF's) birthday.....i cannot wait! But somehow,i simply cannot believe that my birthday is coming. It's like,1 year passes so fast lorrr. Going to be older again. Heh.

I am so tired now.....feel like sleeping but i cannot.....i wanna wait till my birthday. Ha!

This is one of my best birthday presents.....u know what?

My usually-very-weak-academically tutee no 2 passed his Maths SA2 and did quite well for his main English paper!!!!! Yay! I am so OVERJOYED and GLAD that he finally made it!!!!! See,he can do it de.

I am so PROUD of Tutee no 2 this time! And i am definitely going to buy a present for him to acknowledge his hard work. Yay!

看见学明的英文和数学科目终于能够及格，那种心灵上的安慰是非笔墨所能形容的。=)

Anyway,his Maths improved from 46/100 for CA2 to 60/100 for SA2. Chinese improved from 71/100 to 78/100. And usually,he would fail his English main paper but this time he scored 30/50 for main paper! I am totally so over the moon with his improved results ok! *beams*
