While waiting to get the room keys we went to shop for groceries at the big big supermart beside our hotel. Bought a lot of mineral water,tidbits(uncommon flavours de)& fruits. Wa! We kang2 the heavy heavy bottles of mineral water all the way back to hotel. Ok,after finally checking in & settling our stuff,we made our way to pray to Four Face Buddha. Then after praying,went to eat some famous seafood. Got tricked by the cab driver. He dropped us off at the wrong restaurant & claimed it was the one we wanted to go to. Heh. But anyway we still managed to eat the seafood we had always wanted. Quite delicious. But a bit ex though. See the picture below. For the 1st time in my life,i learnt that prawns haf legs. (er....is it a leg???)

Somehow the leg looked like that of a crab. ha.

And then,after the sumptuous dinner,we went to Suan Lum Night Bazaar. Great place to shop! Very lively place. But i didnt buy anything. It was only after i saw my frens bought nice bangles then i xin tong that i didnt see them & so never buy. Haiz. Wanted to go back to the bazaar on the 3rd night but alas! couldnt go back coz of the bombings. the bangles! i missed them! And i really regretted that i didnt visit this night bazaar last July. oh well.

When we went back to sleep,it was alr midnight(BKK time) le. Wow. 5 gals coming back so late in a foreign country. Bravo!

2nd day,30thdec

Had buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant. (Great! i always love buffet breakfast) Then we set off to Chatchuchak,the wkend market. So many ppl there! The no of shoppers was greater than that in last July. Or mayb coz it was still very early in the morn when i went there in july. Bought many things there. 4 pairs of earrings(less than S$1 each),a pink top(which i plan to wear for CNY),2 hp pouches,a skirt,etc etc etc. Ooh la la. Quite unexpected,coz i didnt find anything nice to buy from chatchuchak in july. now different. Spent abt 6hrs there. Time flew so fast. Like,i felt i shopped for a while only but actually 2hrs had passed by? that kind of feeling. then finally shopped until hands full liao,returned to the hotel to put down our shou huo & off we went to eat steamboat for dinner. Oh,i didnt put on weight at all! Coz ate only 2 meals a day & we walked so much! And after dinner it was a quick round of shopping again. hehe.

3rd day,31stdec

Morning,we went to Pratunam wholesale centre to shop. Ooh~ i bought my 2nd CNY clothes there at only 90Baht,which is less than S$4 lo. haha. It's a pink top again,though. hee. (oh my,i better stop buying anymore pink clothes!) After pratunam,we went to MBK again. i spent quite little this day la. my frens bought a lot though. pretty tee-shirts there selling at 99Baht each. i bought 1 on the last day. for someone. cant say who coz i noe she reads my blog. & then i oso bought a few bottles of nail polish,which is quite unusual coz i haf never put on toenail polish de. now gonna try putting on for the 1st time. =) walked ard MBK & couldnt find the wallet that Mum wanted. Heh. Last time can find quite a lot de lo. anyway,shopped till quite late oso. And i think i really lao3 prematurely le. My frens looked like they were still very energetic but the back of my waist was aching like mad. haiz. i need salon pas jiao1 bu4 next time i go shopping for very long. the happiest moment was when we stopped at a cafe to drink coffee. Good coffee,recommended by my fren. FInally could rest there for a while b4 we headed back to hotel for dinner. The rest of the day(mainly evening liao)was spent in the hotel room having dinner by room service. And wat happened,can read my prev post. oh ya! we gals monkeyed ard wif cameras too. haha. took pics wif my frens' cameras,muz wait for them to upload first.

last day,1stjan

Went to Big C shopping centre & surprisingly,managed to buy some nice wallets. & cheap somemore. hoho. Bought 1 for Mum. It's not wat she wanted but coz there was a heart-shape accessory in the wallet,got it for Mum. Bought 2 other ones,intended to keep 1 for myself & gif the other to someone else but Mum & i both felt the wallet looked so nice,i decided to keep it for myself. ahaha. 2 wallets for myself! And to cut the longgggggggggggg story short,i also bought my meng4 mei4 yi3 qiu2 de4 ________ at a departmental store. Wont say wat is that here. too private. ahaha. Pipi they all noe wat la. *grins* SHHHHHH. And then bought some more stuff for frens in sg. spent the most this day. *fast forward*

Again,rushed to catch the flight back to sg. oh my! it was even more rushy than when we came. i was so worried that i would miss the flight! The gate would close 10mins b4 flight departed & we were still at the immigration counter????? GASP. i was the last one to enter & my frens had to wait for me. then we chionged like mad to the gate. worse thing was,the gate had to be so far away. Duh. I RAN. No,we RAN. Like siao. I was panting. I had NEVER run for so long & er....fast??? for so......long. I think we looked hilarious to the other ppl at the airport. this is the LAST time im rushing for the plane. Now i learned my lesson. Cannot take time for granted liao. missing the flight is not a hao3 wan2 thing lo. Luckily,the gate hasnt close. And so i arrived back safely in sg. PHEW!

Wat an exciting trip leh!

p/s. this is a pic taken outside the place where Four Face Buddha is. i felt the post-xmas & new year festive mood was quite good in BKK. At least their decorations not bad la.
